With interiors by Milan-based architect and designer Lissoni Associati and under Swire Hotels’ award-winning “The House Collective”, The Middle House offers 111 guest rooms as well as 102 serviced apartments.
Lissoni drew inspiration from traditional elements of Shanghai heritage and art-deco architecture when devising the interior scheme. With minimalist intentions complimented by bold lines and clean silhouettes, Claybrook’s free-standing Ellipse bath was selected for an intriguing marriage of old and new.
